...that someone can actually get into?

I love Renderosity and was quite pleased that I was able to start posting soon after I had signed up but three of the other graphics-related forums have this probationary thing and haven't written back nor let my threads and responses through.

I don't really care too much because I don't want to make good friends in a forum that I can't ever get back into if there's a system glitch that tosses my account.

But are there any other resource forums, like Rederosity that don't take the "Studio 54" approach to people taking the time to register and present an active email account? I figure those forums already have too many people anyway.

The reason that I bring up 'active email account' is, after the fact, I found out one of the forums doubled as a resource outlet for hackers....and that place has not only my web-based account but my IP email account as well.

I'm still kicking myself.

You shouldn't have any problems over at ArtZone at Daz...

 Thanks, Annie!

BTW CG did the same probationary thing but still let me in within a day. I was surprised as I knew the place was designed for professionals  looking for employment and I figured, out of everyone around the net, they would've been the most elitist and discriminatory.

Art Zone looks like a cool site. Thanks again! =)

It tends to be a little commercial nowadays...but it has everything you can think of for free.

I'm in and made my first post. Only thing being held back so far is my avatar. Simply aWeSoMe!

Recommended it to a gorgeous friend of mine too. She loves chat sites but we keep finding empty ones. LOL.
