Hi!
A few days ago, a member (weezerhopw, now known as DAM3D) created a thread here under the name "Anti-troll system", where the suggestion was to create an anti-troll system.
This was an interesting thread because of the really interesting exchange of ideas that this proposal triggered.
After some time, the OP asked for the thread to be deleted because the OP felt it was taken off-topic. I felt it was a pity that the thread was deleted because of the ideas there expressed and, after a few sitemails with the OP, I got his/her hint to restart it in another thread. So, here it is.
Because I had saved the thread in my computer (as I usually do with interesting threads), I can show it to those of you who didn't have the chance to see it then. Please feel free to continue the interesting exchange of ideas. Thank you!

Ah - I was wondering what happened to the thread.
I must join Rutra - it was a stimulating exchange of ideas not often seen on Rendo.
Even in terms of actually finding a practical suggestion for the original problem it looked like it was converging on a solution - there is already a mechanism for reporting a trolling problem in site mails and gallery images. A similar 'report' button should be added to threads. How about that?
And as dam3d has just shown approaching admin with a complaint about posts not to his liking works too.
So, it may have been more than you expected dam3d, but nobody meant to upset you - just contributing to the subject to the best of our ability.
Thanks Rutra for rescuing the discussion, long may it continue!

Ok, altho the original thread was interesting, it was asked to be removed by the OP..please respect that request.
You may have been told to feel free to start another thread on the subject, but re-posting what was removed is most likely not what the OP meant.
I can tell you what I told the OP when I removed the thread...that I would see about getting a 'report post' feature added to the forums as we have in the gallery.
Im removing the link to the previously removed thread, and locking this down as this suggestion has been responded to.
Thanks for your understanding
