After much nagging my father - who has not been well for a few weeks - went to see his doctor.  Doc sent him for some tests and now the results are back.

In one lung, and I quote, "A seven centimetre mass consistent with cancer".  So, although not entirely definite - more tests and biopsies on the way - it doesn't look good.

Please spare a kind thought for my dad, my hero.
