I've rendered this picture on Superior setting, with no lens glare. I keep getting these weird pink circles across the picture. Does anyone know what causes this or how to fix it?  There is one negative point light in the picture, and the atmosphere settings for quality of light and fog is at +1. The fog is a metacloud.  Any help would be appreciated.

What version of Vue are you using ?

Did you try removing the negative light ?

I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I am not.

What lighting model? Is "reuse indirect lighting" on in your render settings?

I knew I would forget important info, lol. I'm using Vue 8.4 latest build. The lighting model is GR, with only optimize for outdoor rendering checked.  I don't have the reuse indirect light box checked.  I haven't tried removing the negative light, but I will.

and I removed the indirect light, and the artifacts are still there.

Texture issue maybe, its only happening on branches that I can see.

Change to user settings and turn of texture anti-aliasing and see if it makes a difference.

Jon I think you may have nailed it.  I did a test and it seems to have corrected the problem. Of course, the final render will show if it really helped or not. I'll post it when it's done. Thanks.

Good luck with it mate, there are other options to try if it wasn't a texture issue.

The texture antialiasing seems to have been the cause of the problem in this case. Thanks everyone. The finished render just got posted in the gallery.
