I have run into a problem when I try to close a scene in PP2010. When I close & save the scene PP2010 refuses to close! If I persist in closing, I completely loose the scene! My pz file has 0 KB!
I saved periodically as I was building the scene without incident. The scene was not overly large - 6 figs, clothes and a some props. I have 6 gig ram and a core i7 processor.
This has happened twice in a row & wasted a lot of work.
Any ideas what could be causing this?
Thanks

Can you save and then close without saving? Always use that method myself as it feels safer.
Do you run it on a 32 bit system? I had lots of problems with it running out of memory and misbehave with 32 bit.
Might also be a character object you use who causes problems.

I get issues closing PP2010 on a Vista laptop with an ATI card - P8 was fine. Event log suggests it's an OpenGL problem with my ATI card, which is not suprising since I have other OGL issues with it. Files get saved okay though even if on the close, it's just the program doesn't close nicely.

Thanks for the input
I need to do more experimenting. But, I believe the problem is with the size of the scene. I was getting well over 400,000 KBs. Need to do more experiments.
I thought the sky was the limit on an i7, 6 gig, 64b machine. I guess not.
