Hi folks
For a long long time I've avoided V4.2 installation. My V4.1 worked OK, and I was drawing a LOOONG 3D comic with tons of saved pz3 scenes and I didn't want the ugly surprise of discovering troubles with my stored V4.1 characters
But now and by the moment my comic is on the dead dock, and I'm studying seriously to update my V4.1. My questions are:
-V4.2 installation is still the same mess that in the beginning? Must I manually uninstall V4.1 or finally DAZ has the process in the V4.2 updater? If the mess continues, can anyone give me a link to a thread with clear instructions about the whole process?
-My pz3 scenes with lots of V4.1s will survive or I'll find 'ugly surprises'? :cursing:
Thanxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx :woot:

What exactly gave you trouble before? I installall the DAZ figures with default options for Poser and I haven't had problems.
Old scenes with old versions of V4 will have all the morph data and whatnot saved into the scene file, I don't see where this will cause you any problems.

Wow. So DAZ fixed the bug :woot:
At the beginning, V4.2 installation was a f****** mess. You 'd need to uninstall manually V4.1 deleting folders and folders and lots of people had troubles... :cursing:
So I never installed the update. If now all's OK, then... :thumbupboth:

I never needed to uninstall V4.1. Still have her on my system and V4.2 never gave me any installation issues.
