I'm double dipping here I have started a similar thread in the poser forum and they where able to help somewhat, but I'm still having a problem and now I turn to the Photoshop experts.

I 'm using Photoshop CS3 (10.0.1) Extended, Poser 7.0.4 (with the plug in in that allows you to move Poser object to Photoshop) and Windows XP. I have followed the Poser tutorial, but every time I try to add the 3D layer in Photoshop I get this (see image) a very light screen copy of my screen. Any help, thought suggestions would be great, or even a Photoshop tutorial on the subject might be helpful.

Thanks

Moonwatcher

Yes I have that is what the Poser plug in is supposed to do.

JMO, but the 3D layer in photoshop CS3 was terribly implented, hardly worth the trouble.

Poser meshes are generally massive, and so if you do manage to load it, will make the whole thing painfully unresponsive.

all in all,  not worth the trouble. I gather  3d layer works better in newer versions of photoshop . . . but if you want to manipulate giant meshes and paint on them, Zbrush or Mudbox is much, much friendlier. Deep paint is an older application, used for this too.

 i'm in agreement with croc.

CS3 really isn't the best app to use. there's nothing worse than getting everything loaded up and have PS blink out with the message "Photoshop Has Unexpectedly Quit" "Do You Want To Send A Report"...

I've had it happen more times than i'd like to admit
