 Hi All!

Okay, I'm running Win7 64bit, with w/dual core Pentium (2+gHz?) HP Pavilion, 4gb RAM.  I have the regular (free) DAZ Studio3 (32 bit) installed.  It was running fine (or so I thought).  Suddenly I find that when I add an item of clothing, or change morph settings or change/add a texture the viewport does not change the view I have until I do something like open the render controls and then save them again - then the screen is entirely visible as far as current view.  Sometimes I can see that behind the image that's frozen the screen IS responding (for example, pan and zoom), but at some point the image is "frozen" during the above activities.

I sure hope this is making sense.   Not having any kind of trouble with anything else (including Carrara 8).

It still works okay, just a pain to have to continually "clear" the viewport.

You could try going to the options menu in the viewport and turning off the IK widget and the camera cube.

When was the last time you went to the microsoft website and updated? I had viewport refresh issues until I reinstalled the .net framework stuff from disk and got a ton of updates from microsoft that never made it to me via the update utility.

You may want to check your Preferences under the Directories tab and make sure "Automatically Refresh Content Folders" is off.  When it's on DAZ Studio loves to take long timeouts looking at your runtime.

Oh I really hate it when it does that!

I agree with kerya that you may  try going to the options menu in the viewport.
