Chin's way too forward and pointy
Jawline's too straight
Squinty eyes
Nose is too pointy
Lip curve at the corner is too exaggerated

Don't feel too bad. Fygomatic is already working on a Taylor Swift morph and is a bit closer. My visual indexes of Poser

Anyway, pz99's comments were quite helpful. I made some tweaks based on his observations. Any better?

I like really it! The changes are clearly improvements.
Hint, hint: this would be a killer freebie, even though you've just about reached the Daz 3D celebrity level.

Quote - Thanks for your input, folks! Believe me, I'm well aware of Fygomatic's excellent work! The problem is he's not one to share his morphs, and I suspect he might rely a bit too much on face textures ripped straight from photos.
??? Getting your texture from a photo would help one hardly at all with this.

It looks the same to me. The lower front of the face needs a serious shove inwards, I think.
edit: well actually it looks like you tried that...

I can't see any difference between the first pic and the revision? Not being snarky, I really can't see any difference and I'm looking pretty hard. The eyes are still squinty, the chin is still long and pointy etc. The real person's face is a lot more round, not that sharp jawed look.
TZORG posted Thu, 29 July 2010 at 12:24 PM
well you pushed her chin up a bit. I see two changes, the lower nose is thinner and the chin/jaw are slightly different...
edit
I compared in mspaint, paste/undo paste/undo

Huh, I'll take your word for it but I honestly can't see any difference. The differences between either pic and the real person's face are not subtle things, at any rate, they need blatant changes if your goal is to get closer to the real person's face (not that it matters too much to me either way, not a fan of Ms Swift).
ps: nose is way too narrow

I'm no particular fan but I keep all my options open.

It 's close: it looks like it could be her sister. Here's a link to her in a pose similar to your render:

I'm not entirely sure what you mean by that. Are you referring to the character series of which Belle is the poster child? If so, thanks!
Here's another round of tweaks, hopefully more noticeable this time. I tried to move the lower face inwards as suggested, and I think I've done fairly well. To be perfectly honest, I left her eyes completely alone because her eyes actually do look that oblong and even "squinty" as pjz99 puts it in most photos I find of her. The nose tricky. The tip is rather wide and even a little bulbous, but the fleshy part of the nostrils appear much narrower and tucked almost behind the tip. This design is difficult to emulate with just Morphs++.

How many photo references are you using? I typically accumulate several photos from all angles, if available. Photographic images tend to vary dramatically depending on the lense used, angle and subject position. Such a variety will confirm or dispel specific facial features. Also, be aware of the subject's mannerism and emotional inflections as they relate to facial morphology. Very important if you want to give her a bit of genuine life to her expressions rather than a deadpan look.

I still can't see any difference betwen the first, second and third pics. Good luck with this project I guess, I'd just be repeating the feedback I gave earlier.

Don't know if this would help as I haven't had time to try it yet, but there was a demo of "Reference Image 1.5" on one of my 3d mag disks (you can download it from the authors website as well. Don't know if it will work with Poser or not, but it creates a window with a very thin frame that can be overlayed part of your working window. When I've attempted to do morphs from photos in the past I've had to switch the display to outline and load the image as the background which is is ok for basic shape but not details. This may help.

Unless I'm hallucinating, I can see slight adjustments to the chin and nose that make the figure more accurate. Her eyes seemed reasonably accurate in the first render, capturing the slight squint and angle that seem to be natural characteristics. Giving her a more dynamic facial expression might help in making an evaluation, as hborre has already pointed out.
Anyway, I still like it.
richardson posted Sat, 31 July 2010 at 8:49 AM
I think you are missing just how "fleshy" her face is. Her lower lip is almost infant-like and is much narrower than her upper lip and plumps out more. Her chin seems more like an over-bite and her cheeks produce a rounder profile from 1/4 view, imo. Her X to Y ratio is much higher, too.

I showed it to #1 Daughter and she recognised her right off. The Wife says she has too much makeup on below her eyes.
Miss Swift has a very expressive face, so as hborre pointed out, perhaps trying some expressions out on her would help folks to better judge ...

I'm constantly amazed at how different our visual perceptions of objects, whether it's a tree or a human face, can be.
I'm not being at all negative in offering that observation. It's just another fascinating attribute of the human condition in that our personal sense of aesthetics can be compounded of many factors besides proportions and the narrow spectrum of light frequecies humans can observe.
And there's the fact that compared to many other animals, we navigate through the universe practically bind. For example, the skin of an orange reflects light primarily in the blue range, but the limited capabilities of our visual system will only register what appears in the warmer end of the spectrum.
Of course, that is an amazing thing. If we all perceived reality precisely the same way, life would be unbearably boring. Except for blue oranges.

Her eye Brows on the edges a little higher, Her mouth a little smaller. And one of the hardest to do is Capturing a persons eyes. There is more problems with the eyes, than anything. Her Chin just below her lips start a triangle apearance.
These are only to be things to help you achieve what you are shooting for.
You need to get a picture of her face strait away, Place it as a background in front of your characture. Render your Taylor Swift then if you have an editing Program match them up one on top of the other. Fade on in an out so you can see the differences, same with the side view.
From there you can see the problems, and have all the answers in front of you.

That's very close. There's something about the chin...I think her jawline is a little too full...

I've long been awed by Fygomatic's realistic poser versions of celebrity's. Question, isn't he doing a bit of post work on those? I'm referring to some sort of paining technique. I'm sure he does some morphing but I suspect that it's not possible to actually morph V4 so diversely.

My earlier comment was posted in ignorance. I'm told Fygomatic has posted "untouched" results in some cases. I retracted my question/statement.
Sorry for any confusion or the perception that perhaps I was bad mouthing Fygomatic. That was not my intention. I don't actually care how the work in Fygomatic's gallery is created. I do know that it is amazing.

Brent

Getting Much closer. But the Problem is still the Eye Brows need to up higher on the outside edges, and She needs bright eyes. There is always a gleam in her eyes. It is time consuming to get a person just right, but in the end it's worth it. Somebody has a girl her at Renderosity that looks a lot like Tyler Swift. That is why I bought her.
Gee, What you going to do with her when you get her just right? Put her in a concert?
