She's using WinRAR/WinZIP and has downloaded other files with no problem. She's also tried downloading to another drive and another computer. It seems as though the slashes are missing from the file path. Can anybody help please?

Hello,

Thank you and I will see if I can find out why they are having problems with the products they purchased from both of you.

With it being the weekend, it may be a little while before I hear anything back.

Thank you and have a wonderful weekend!

There are several things you can do to assist is diagnosing the problem :-

  1. Check the integrety of the ZIP file.
Many unzipping tools have a "Test" option which will check that all the files have the correct CRCs.
  2. If 1) confirms that the file is OK or if your unzipper doesn't have a check option, try unzipping to a another directory (one with a simple short path like C:Temp).

These should confirm that you have a valid archive and that your unzipper can cope with the contents.
If step 1) fails, redownload after clearing your cache and repeat.
If step 2) fails, try using another unzipper, e.g. 7-Zip
If both steps succeed the it's most likely that the problem is caused by the path you were originally trying to unzip to.
Assuming you having had trouble using that location before, a possible explanation would be that the troublesome entries are generating too long a filename.
Neither of the ReadMes indicate the use of any awkward characters.

Thanks nruddock I'll pass on the info and see if it solves the problem.

Quote - ... and see if it solves the problem.

While it strictly speaking won't solve the problem, it will narrow down considerably where/what the problem actually is.

Hello,

We were able to unzip and extract all files from all 3 purchased products using Winzip.

Please ask the customer to download the lastest free trial version of Winzip from Winzip.com and use that program to unzip and extract the files.

Thank you for your patience and have a nice day!
