I've been trying a bit of animation with a scene containing two characters. When I select a character the camera position changes, then changes again when selecting the other. Could anyone tell me how to freeze the camera position please.

Have you selected the camera, and dechecked the "animating" box?

I have done that Grappo but it still moves when change character

What you can do is to save the camera values and apply it to the camera for the other character, since it may use a different instance of the camera for the other character..

Oh, thank you, Grappo will give that go :)

I did that when I had two cameras in the same scene (one character), and I wanted a move to originate from the same position, but have different endings.

what camera are you using ?
the face or hand cameras are using a "point at " to track the body part. The other cameras should not move simply be selecting a figure.

I tried it. I zerroed all settings for both characters on all key frames but the camera still moves. Even when it has moved it stills says they are at zero on all the settings.

Have you tried >>> *[menu] >>> * "Object" >>> Lock Actor" ... for the camera?... ?
Just a thought.

I think you might be using the face camera! when you then chose the other actor the whole scene changes, if you go to the main camera it will freeze the view.
However what do I know , I probably misunderstood the question in the first place.

Saibameuk hit the nail right on the head :) It does not seem to matter wich camera you choose if it does not correspond with the one chosen in display. I selected main camera in display (It been face camera) now the problem is solved. Thank you for all your answers.
