Subject: Can I get a "variance" on the 50 MB max size?

I have a 65 MB file, the free trial of The New PzDB, which doesn’t fit in your 50 MB limit.  I was hosting the previous version on my own site, but you don’t allow that anymore.

I have a 7 MB version, but it requires a hyperlink to Microsoft to download the other 58 MB, and I can’t put a hyperlink my freestuff description either.

It’s not like I’ve been wasting a lot of your hard drive space, PzBD simply cannot be any smaller.  Do you suppose that PzDB can be an exception to the rule? I’d really like to have this free trial in the Renderosity freestuff if there’s any way I can do that.

My only other idea is to post a HTML file that points back to my website to download the freebie, but I really don’t want the users through all that.

Any other ideas, anyone?

if they're selling PzDB here, maybe they can allocate bandwidth/server space for the free trial.
or make users go to yer html link and register the free trial, that ya might be
better able to track down warez uploaders.  one assumes there's no OS X version.

Unfortunately we can't give just one provider extra space for a freebie. If Im not mistaken, you have a link to your site in the MP where the 60 day free trial can be downloaded yes?

Providers can link to their freebies in this forum, just not in the freestuff section where only direct downloads are allowed.

Why not add the html link to the larger file inside the smaller zip file?
