Contrary to false notions, vultures prefer fresh dinner. They don't want an opossum pancake cooked on the road several days any more than we would..well, maybe a tiny bit more than we would.

They like "the very, very, very slowest moving" fresh meal..freshly expired opossum is a delight.

For anyone interested, this is a Turkey Vulture. The other sort we have is a Black Vulture.
