hi guys
'm currently doing a image .... and this thought crossed my mind - is there a limit on how big a runtime Poser can handle before it starts being bogged down and slows its loading into scene time?
not sure if this question has been asked before, i dont frequent the forums as much as i used to ....

Runtime seems to impact the time needed for Poser to start, or to change runtimes , but once Poser is started and using a single runtime there is no speed loss in my experiance. Mine in Poser 7 is only 13 GB.

I should clean mine up, that thought has crossed my mind already -
because i know its a lot bigger then 13gb ... i install stuff and dont uninstall ....

When Poser 8 was in development, BB mentioned users who were testing the library that had hundreds of gigs of content...

Right now (i just checked) i have 52gb on that runtime, that includes poser 7's default content that it came with .....
Maybe one day i'll clean it up to what i use only ..... LOL

The size in GB does not matter, never mattered and probably never will matter... It's the number of files in the library, and your textures usually don't reside there although they take most space in GB.
