as a huge lover of games, and also soundtrack music, I also love a lot of the music in games, especially as I find most stuff in the charts absolutely pathetic nowadays, sigh. (Gimmie Vangelis, AC/DC, Iron Butterfly, the Pistols etc, not this brain mush they pump out now!)
Battlefield 2142 had full orchestral scoring, "Minsk" is one of my fave pieces of music

so anyway I love Mass Effect2 and bought the soundtrack from Amazon (alas no collectors edition of ME2 over here, grr), and they had a link to another music album...by "Two Steps From Hell"
turns out they are two composers who make music for trailers, games, films etc, and get their work played by orcestras.
hot DAMN are they awesome! I love music with "BALLS!" if you pardon the expression :P, music that really grabs ya, you know?
so, give this a shot if you are into really grand, powerful orchestral works with OOMPH! :)
