Dear Friends;
It seems that my email address at Yahoo.com has been hacked, and used to spam people here at Rendo.
If any of you have received such an email from me, then I apologize, and please know that it did not originate from my hand!
Yours truly,
David P. Hoadley

No worries, David... been a while since I've seen a Viagra ad. Very clever hack indeed!

Advertising the new Viagra product? It's powdered and you put it in your tea to stop your biscuit going limp when you dunk it :)

I got one of those from DPH as well and I guessed he had been hacked. But then I thought, I bet he got a virus going to one of those funny websites. Purely to research his graphic novel though.
Kidding.

I aim to update it about once a month. Oh, and it's free!

The more malicious version is for the email to say "Help! I'm in trouble in a foreign country, no phone or money, please wire money to this account." Has been used on a UK politician and Daily Mail journalist.

Good to hear from you, David-you've been a bit scarce.
I didn't get any spams from you-just the usual "Gift Card Waiting", "Free Laptop", and "Single Girls Want to Meet You" ones that regylarly come my way...

If you get an email from me saying that, then it's not a hoax, I really am in trouble in a foreign country with no money. Please send as much money as you can, give till it hurts! Chocolate biscuits, spirits, wine, and offers of wild sex, are also welcome.
;)
P.S. Beautiful stove!

DPH,
Not a problem! That was pretty funny, though!

No worries, DPH. I figured something weird happened from Yahoo, because I got the same email from my parents' Yahoo account.

I got that one from a friend of mine! Unfortunately, I already sent all my money to a Nigerian Diplomat who had discovered a previously unknown inheritance. I am awaiting my $100,000! :-)

No worries DP. I clicked the link hoping to see something new from you and it redirected to the viagra ad. I just did a Spyware scan on my PC afterwards to make sure it didn't infect me. It didn't.
