Hi All
I'm wondering if someone here bought Geocontrol 2 back when C3D had it on sale Cheap and is tired of using it. I missed that deal. I would like this legal and Cheap.
If so, how do you transfer a Geocontrol 2 license ?
If an owner has a Geocontrol 2 license and they no longer use the application wish to transfer that to me because I would pay them $90.00 USD.
What's the process for that license transfer?
I want to do it Legal and qualify for any future upgrade discounts should there ever be a version 3
I was going to ask at the contact us link at the page bottom of the Geocontrol forum site but the link is bad.
So I posted in their forum and thought I would ask here.
Any Help
Thanks

In most software licensing these days, it is illegal to "transfer" ownership of the software in that manner. Best check the licensing agreement first.

Adobe software has a license transfer process for there commercial retail versions.
I'm pretty sure that Microsoft and Corel have a license transfer process.also.
I think e-on has one for Vue as well.
But I think you are right in that some software companies don't allow transfer. After reading your reply I found the EULA (End Users License Agreement) for Geocontrol 2. And It does NOT look transferable.
So I guess I can't do that. So I guess I'm out luck there.
Thanks for the reply.
