If all you have is an OBJ file and JPG texture you will need to:-
File > Import > Wavefront object.
Browse for shotgun.obj
Suggest that you un-check all the import option boxes and see what it comes in as initially.
Go to the material room and apply the JPG texture to the model.
Save to your prop library for future use.
Hope that helps.

panko here in the MP has some nice weapons sets and matching poses. they are not free but the guns actually fire. getting the weapon will be the least of your worries. It's posing the weapon that takes the most time in poser I have found. I once spent days trying to make V3 hold a rifle in both hands, so that's why I am so happy I discovered panko! Love estherI aim to update it about once a month. Oh, and it's free!

This second one is based on a story of a White Hunter who kills Tigers for sport, topical now.
He is persuaded by a young India village boy to give up killing Tigers with a rifle and start shooting Tigers with a camera.
Philic you have just provided the knowledge for the first prop.
Thank You again.
