Freshly uploaded at Renderosity here: [ Ultra-Low-Res-Morphing-Chess-Piece](http://www.renderosity.com/mod/freestuff/details.php?item_id=61836)

I'd love to know what people think of the end result. ( Link back to the original WIP thread )

A 130-face pawn with morphs to convert it into a knight, bishop, rook, queen or king, in Poser prop (pp2) format. Also included is a 26-face chess board.

The board and morphing pawns can be loaded individually.
Alternatively the board can be loaded along with 32 morphing pawns with their positions and morphs already set up. In this case all pieces are parented to the board and will translate, rotate and scale with it. Four game positions are included - the initial setup, a standard opening, a mid-game and an end-game. All pieces can be moved independently to get the set-up you want.

And it usually uses Poser 11, with units set to inches. Except when it's using Poser 6 or PP2014, or when its units are set to PNU.

Cool! Now I need to have a chess match or something— I already have 3 or four other sets.

Thank you muchly!

Nice to see it's being downloaded.

I had a comment on the ShareCG download page (it's there too) that it's "good for clutter" !!!!

LOL!!!

I took that as a compliment - if I'd stuck with the high-res (1664 faces per chess piece) original idea I don't think it would have been much good as space-filler, but at only 130 faces per piece, hey, just bung it in the background!

My "see what I can make with a 96-face twice-subdivided cube" project mentioned in the WIP thread now has a goal - making low-res background clutter!  Great modelling practice.

LOL!!!

Additional image with more info, to help you decide whether it's worth downloading.
