There's one thing I found annoying in all versions of Posers: The main camera acts like it's attached to some huge invisible dolly, instead of being hand-held

I'm looking for a hand-held camera effect, where the camera rotates realistically in place.

I seem to be constantly fighting the camera's rotation:

1) rotate the camera

2) bring the height up or down to human head height (instead of hovering near the ceiling of floor)

3) moving the camera closer / further

  1. goto step 1

I've tried parenting it to a prop, but it seems impossible to get the camera to rotate in place.

I've even tried editing the file "...RuntimescriptscamerasAndLights" file, but it seems to be mostly ignored.

Help!

Use the "Dolly" camera instead of the main camera.

If you go to the "left" camera, set the "main camera" to visible.

If you rotate the main camera with Xrotate, you'll see it rotate around a spot on the ground.

Main and Aux cameras are parented to the centre of the scene, to change this go to Object>change parent, select none to make it like the dolly camera, to a prop or figure if you want to move it with them.
