Hi guys, I have enjoyed the feedback from you all and have taken it to heart. Just wanted to let you know that Movie Sets,City Block Three for Poser and Movie Sets,City Block Three for Vue are well under way. I really am hoping to release them both around the last week of this month. That is not written in stone, as I am still in the modeling stage so it could be longer.

Here is a very early glimpse of one of the buildings. This is a Electrical supply house and it will accept 5 full length semi trailers and not hang over the sidewalk. Trucks will have to come back later to pick them up or just risk getting a ticket.
There are five working overhead doors and one access door on the docks. that means there is an interior area once you open them up.

More images to follow as it progresses.
Regards, Tom

Great work Tom!!  You put a lot of effort/detail into each of these products and it shows.  I also appreciate your making your portfolio affordable to those of us who are hobbyists...  Please keep up the great work!

Ray

Hi Ray, Thanks a lot!  I do try very hard to put as much detail as I can into these sets, and still be under 100,000 polygons for the whole thing. That is always the challenge. especially when people are wanting to add other props and figures to scenes. Here is one more look at what I am doing. Really hope to have this done and up for sale by the weekend sometime. regards, Tom P.S. Thanks for being such a good customer!

Looking good Tom.

My credit card just ran away when I saw this.

Got an idea for one of the blocks but I'll tell you later....maybe in an email.

I am glad you mentioned that. I was thinking of starting a list of maybe buildings for the City Block series.
I will start it off.
Please keep in mind that if I do not use your idea right away it is nothing personal.

Hospital with heliport

Gas Station

Fire Department

Movie Threatre

Just to name a few,

Tom

Those are cool Tom.

I was thinking of something like a Self Storage facility. That type of building could also be used to other things...like the garage area at a race track, which is something that I'd love to have since I've been doing some of the race cars from the 60's and 70's. Would make a perfect backdrop for those.

Keep them coming.
