Yeah, that's really tricky.........can you just put your mouse in the field and highlight it, then hit delete? Then just type in the name you want.
You could always just change the CR2 manually with a text editor, but that's adding an unnecessary step.

Will try that in a sec see if works
angiexx2 posted Tue, 26 October 2010 at 9:07 AM
Nope its not letting me do that either
whats the next best thing to do?
if I export it can I change the name of the file or is there more in the file to change that way ?
tokejr posted Tue, 26 October 2010 at 9:15 AM
No, you can't do that. I just tested to see and you're going to get an error and it won't create the correct file. You are going to have to figure out how to rename those fields while in Skeleton Setup.

Oh! I wish you had said this sooner: it changes it but soon as click away from it, it puts it back to its original name
You just have to hit the ENTER key before you click out of the field.*

ROFL, just another one of those forehead slapping moments. In case you hadn't figured it out, there's a lot of those in rigging.
angiexx2 posted Tue, 26 October 2010 at 1:05 PM
lol looks like it
well that worked and it does move with v4.2 but theres alot of poke through on the abdomen
which is a big chunk of the top and cannot get it to move using bend etc lol
so that to figure out now lol
Do I need to leave hip in on the rigging as its not on my top as the top ends at the waste
but v4.2s hierachy starts with hip ?
tokejr posted Tue, 26 October 2010 at 1:15 PM
Yes, the hip must stay. You did take out the geometry though, correct?
Open the Hip tab by clicking on the arrow next to it.
Right click on Geometry
Click Remove Geometry Reference
Do the same for Alternate Geometry. (Not sure this is required, but I do it anyway)
This will leave in the Geometry Reference, but remove the actual geometry.
