Hello animation gurus.

To avoid reading the manual, is there a way to set a mass to an object or is it worked out based on the size of the object.

For example, if I have 2 equally sized cubes, one made of lead and one made of plastic, how and where do I tell Carrara this?

They would fall at the same rate of course, but if they were to hit each other, the mass would have an effect.

Thanks.

In this animation I want the ball on the end to have enough mass to pull the chain through the big ring.

Try to change the Density in effects tab.

That's incredible.  I just made the ball as heavy as I could and it was so heavy that it pulled the chain for a while but then the chain broke!   Carrara is awesome.
