After a protean struggle to recover from having my HD crash and get my new DAZ Studio 3A (64-bit) up and running I am rebuilding/reorganizing my content.

Here's my problem:  I have a number of external runtimes.  I go into DS3A and click Edit>Preferences>Directories.  In the Directories Tab I toggle over to "Poser Content Directories" the load in my external runtimes via Add>Apply>Accept.S o far, so good.

While working on a scene everything is fine.  I do a test render; save my work and close down.  Later on I open DS3A and SURPRISE!...all my external runties are gone.  And off I go to reload them back into "Poser Content Directories".

The kick in the head is I had this issue once before and managed to resolved it. Of course, I didn't write anything down so I don't remember what  I did. But whatever it was it worked.

Anyone out there have the same problem?  Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I can't help as I havn't used DAZ 3A, but I loved the title of your problem; it had me laughting out loud.  I'm sure someone will come to your rescue shortly. :)

Images that run around in my head eventually end up in my gallery.

Where are the external Runtimes - on network drives? External drives connected to the machine? Local hard disc? Are other settings restoring OK? What OS?

Which build are you using, I had that problem with 3.1.1.73*, 3.1.2.19 sorted it for me.

*That build really was a pile of garbage, it had so many issues that it wasn't funny.
