These 4 tests are temporary and are to ask for help in putting them together into one movie.
I can not figure out how to put them together and work with them in DAZ Studio, Animator, aniMate 1.5, or Timeline.
When I put them together in Microsoft Movie Maker #2 is cut off in the beginning and the first word "Good" is cut off, and publishing the movie in Movie Maker will take over 2 hours, versus much less time in DAZ Studio as an AVI.
When I put this together and tweak it to be smoother I will replace the compilation for the parts.

This is my first animation in a possible series called "Virtual Girl for hand-held devices. Fine Art? Who knows?

Thanks!

Gordon

You need a video editing program, aka Non Linear Editor (NLE), like Adobe Premiere or Final Cut Pro. Probably Sony Vegas will work too. Also, you are better off by encoding your clips into a lossless codec so to avoid transcoding the videos and losing quality.

Check Vegas or Blender 2.55, it has a built-in NLE.

Thanks Pret... I will look into this.

  1. I would still llike to combine the 4 .daz files in Animator and work on their transitions and making them into one movie, there must be a way to do this, maybe with layering, or making them into aniblocks, like someone else sugested.

  1. How would I simply add 10 frames in front of the #2 clip in Animator, or one of the other DAZ Studio programs? I do not see any info on how to do this.

Thank you very much!

I don't know Animator, if it has NLE capabilities then you should be able to contact the developer and ask for support. Movie editing is done in a NLE so if the software dosn't have the capabilitiees you might be using the wrong tool for the job. Again, I don't know it, never heard of it as a NLE so it might be that I simply lack knowledge.

The most common video editors, excluding Avid, are FCP, Premiere, Vegas, and iMovie. Just keep in mind thaat video editing is a rather complex task and you need to get the best tool that you can afford.

Cheers.
