I am using CS2, and I wanted to know the best way to upsize an image after finishing the brush scene I am creating, since it seems that brushes are limited to appx 2400p in size.
I am doing an image that is 4600 X 7000 in size, so I wonder if I can create my imagery on a 3500 X 2300 size, and increase it double without loosing resolution? Can I get some suggestions on the best way to insure a clean resizing?

its called a bookmark.

 

Meaning w hatever the answr is i am interested in the subject myself. I use AlienSkin BlowUp myself.

I typically use the "subscribe"button" to bookmark a thread...that way...every participant isn't notified and returns to the thread just to see "Bookmark"...It's the very reason the "subscribe" button was implimented...

As far as upsizing...wowI'm not sure unless you could try to increasing the image size and try the different resampling options.

I was thinking you could work on a re-sized copy and record an action,then run that action on the original...but it would probably use the same brush size that was used on the re-sized copy.

I'm not very experienced with actions so maaybe there is a way to edit (resized the brush) in the action states.

heh heh...the real beauty of it is that it turns to an "unsubscibe" button. Usefull for when I'm pretty much done following the thread...and I don't have to go back and delete my bookmark posts.

Yeah, that is really cool, nice to know that button is there. Keeps people from being annoyed by dots i guess.

I know this won't be much help but i use PhotoZoom Pro 3 by BenVista (i'm a MAC though they do have a PC ver that runs on XP VISTA WIN7), but it's pricey (i had the company pay for it)...  They also have a "classic" version (a bit cheaper), and both have a "Trial" version (watermarks the file) to see if it will do the job for you...

 

I've really have had great results with it on my photography, but it might be a TEN DOLLAR solution to a TEN CENT problem...

ThanX to everyone, and NOW that I know what that "." was, I apologize for my mean spirited retort. I thought you were being rude honestly.

OK, the good news that I want to share is this,  I AM BUYING THE UPGRADE FROM CS2 to CS5 ETENDED TODAY!!! (*dances little circles of pleasure!!!) I am posting a link to two sources for a PS sale! ;)

OK, back to my delimna. So if I work in a size as large as possible withing PS, the best way to increase the size even further is to buy an outside program to do so? Can't I enlarge the DPI, and size, within PS? I know that the brushes can't be re-sized, but the finished image? Is CS5 (*giggles and holds herself tight!!!) does that handle upsizing an image better then CS2?
