Subject: Poser Pro 2010 won't import .wav files of any kind

...that also includes my older Poser Pro which, also, no longer recognizes .wav files. Even the voice files are designed for Poser. MIMIC works fine as does DazStudio....so I can't figure this one out. Before I report this to SmithMicro...I thought I'd ask here.  Thank you, in advance, for your time and advice.

Hi!

I´ve got the same problem in Poser 7 after rebuilding my system on my new PC with Windows Vista Ultimate. First I thought about an installation problem of P7 but after updating to Poser 8 I have still the same problem. No standard .wav is recognized and I got the message that Poser isn´t able to load this file types. Weird thing! Anyone an idea?

Mimic works fine for me too.

Sorry...nothing. I just use Mimic and daz for lip sync.

IIRC, some machines have a gremlin that requires something to be plugged into the sound card, so it would be worth doing some searching of the forum to unearth previous threads.
