So, I've been wanting to build this space dock for a long time now (years) and I just decided yesterday to just do it! BANG!
So I have a little more to do on this but here's what popped out after five hours. I'm not really going to do much more on it, I've decided it's basically done.
4000 parts. 2000 of those are those pesky little squares in the ceiling (thanks replicator!).

Oh yeah forgot, this was all done 100% in CPro 8 64 bit.

Should'nt the space dock have thrusters.. to manuver...

Good question about the top.
1.) The top was not shown really in the movie (Star Trek the motion picture).
2.) I didn't put anything up there either.
3.) I hadn't really planned on rendering it from above since the interesting stuff is down below.
4.) Thrusters are of course logical but they weren't really in the movie. That doesn't mean they can't be added though, this is my version of it anyway and in the end, it's all just art.
