I am trying to install P8 on VMware workstation but when loading the P8 inside vmware I get error & screen is messed up with hexadecimal & abstrract art?
Secondly, I am trying to add figure into P8 from P7 or P6 or try to conform a figure from library into P8 skeleton which is the defualt loaded figure. Any tutorials for this? Thanks.

VMware doesn't handle graphics well, to put it mildly. I wouldn't expect it to work properly with Poser.

Try switching the preview to SreeD to see if that helps.
