When I import an animation from poser I would like to reset the pivot point. I do this:
Select the object
Select the numeric tab (middle of the 3 tabs) at the top right of the interface
Select Pivot Position (lowest of the 5 panels)
Three little icons appear to the right - Turn the top one (show pivot) and second one (relative pivot) on
You should now be able to drag the pivot position in any of the views or enter a numeric position for it
The bottom of the 3 icons on the Pivot Position display resets it to the centre of the object.
but as soon as I move to the next frame the pivot point goes back to the default. I want to change the pivot point so I can center it on the object and it will remain there. It is terribly frustrating to animate when my pivot point is miles away from my object.
