is there a modern tank (M1?) with posable treads? I can't seem to find one

Vanishing Point has some tanks with working treads, but I don't see an M1. There is an M1 here, but it doesn't look like it has working treads.

Possibly the M1 model treads could be converted to work properly. Here's the link where VK explains the process:

Cage can be an opinionated jerk who posts without thinking. He apologizes for this. He's honestly not trying to be a turkeyhead.
Cage had some freebies, compatible with Poser 11 and below. His Python scripts were saved at archive.org, along with the rest of the Morphography site, where they were hosted.

Renderosity forum reply notifications are wonky. If I read a follow-up in a thread, but I don't myself reply, then notifications no longer happen AT ALL on that thread. So if I seem to be ignoring a question, that's why. (Updated September 23, 2019)

The M1 included with P8 is a poseable prop not a figure and does not have poseable tracks. If you go into wireframe, it can be seen that the upper run of track links under the side armour are missing.
I can't remember exactly but I think it is a licensed conversion from Gunpoint3D. Perhaps VP could add the missing links and rig the tracks for you.

Touchwood do you think I'm too dumb to check first? It's a prop and the treads animate perfectly.
Select the BODY actor. All the animation controls for tread, turret, guns, and hatch are there.
