Hello,
I'm having some problems exporting my scene to a 3Ds file.
I've brought this material - http://www.cornucopia3d.com/purchase.php?item_id=457#
But when I export the model it looks like this.
As you can see it's very grainy, especially the snow...
Can anyone help me out? Is there a setting that I'm missing or something?
Any help on this would be much appreciated, I spent over a day trying to fix the problem but still no joy.
Many thanks in advance!

What settings are you using on export (a screenshot may easiest) ?
I suspect that it's a lost cause (especially if the underlaying materials are procedural), and I'm surprised you manged to export a terrain mesh without running into the 3DS polygon limit (64K).

Thanks for your reply. These are the settings I'm using
This is the texture it exports http://www.funkyjunk.me.uk/imagesforexternals/renderosity/Mountain.jpg
I'm not sure if it's the export settings as a render from within vue, still looks very grainy..

Try making the map size much larger, and use a lossless format like PNG or TIFF (otherwise you're going to lose fine detail).
You might also want to generate bump maps.

but if it's doing it from the internal render in vue, then it can't be the export settings ??
or do you mean change the map size somewhere else?
Thanks alot for your help, I've been really stuck on this.. project is due today as well :s
