Hello!

Are looking for something like I have in the image above? If yes, that was done with primitives/metablob to which I applied a volumetric material. If the material doesn't show up, it is usually a problem of scale and density (especially with meta clouds). You need to experiment with these parameters to get the effect you want.

THD777 That is a fantastic image. I like every aspect of it and just had to say so

That set is great. However, it is designed for use in metaclouds. That means it is optimized for shapes that are hundreds of meters in scale. If applied to smaller shapes (like dust clouds generated by a car/truck) one needs to adjust scale and density are mentioned above. Nevertheless, these materials are a good starting point!

You can also use a simple cone and size it how you like. Than apply a volumetric smoke that comes with Vue. Just go into the materials editor and change it to brown color or whatever.

Obviously my cone is too high, but you can see what I mean.
