When I try to download files  fromrenderosity What is the path that i need to type that  will cause the fies to go in to the right locations in Poser 8.  libraries?

You can't do that. YOu must download to a folder, then unzip the files, then take the runtime that is included and copy it into your Poser runtime.

You must be referring to the content tab in P8.  That is a seldom used feature that most vets do not use.  It can directly establish a connection to Content Paradise, and also manage unzipping your compressed content into the download runtime folder within Poser.  However, it will not sort compressed items into their appropriate categories, only the vendors must supply the correct folder hierarchy where everything must go.  As drifterlee suggests, it is better to unzip content into a temporary folder on your desktop and afterwards copy that runtime folder to it's final destination, may it be the original Poser folder or external runtime.  If the vendors did their job correctly, your content will be found correctly within the library.

semi-OT, but what I do is rename them like so...

Sitename_Character_filename_description....

or - 'rosity_V4_flooglehoop_zeussware' - not a real item...;)

and 6 months later, when I actually remember to install it...;)

Yeah, it's easier to create a folder, unzip the runtime into it, then copy and paste the whole megilla into the Poser(whatever) runtime folder.
