how do you add an avatar when you post to the forum?

Go to the top of the page.
Click on the "Members" button.
Pull down to the first menu item "My Profile"
Type in the Name, Address, things you want to display in your posts. The place to upload your avitar is about half way down the page.

You need to be aware that nudity is not permitted in an Avi.
