It sure would be nice to have oriental material that loads directly into Poser of different colors, sizes and shapes.  (Not to good at importing jpegs into the material room with the sizeing I want).

Thank you!

I'll second this request! Silks of any pattern, brocades, satin...

Would my freebie low resolution tileable Chinese fabric textures be suitable for you ?

I like a couple of them, but like I said  I am not to good at importing jpegs into the material room with the sizeing I want -- that is why I want them already made to be in the material already. Thank you.

Attached Link: Material Room Tutorial

One of the main things to learn in Poser is the material room. I suggest taking an hour or so to explore and see what is where, etc. Attached is a tutorial explaining what to do in there. I hope it helps. And once you learn what you are doing, then you'll be able to make your own texture alterations.

The problem with making a tiled material in Poser is, you may need to tile it more or less depending on the item you are applying it to. So you'll end up having to adjust those manually on a per model basis pretty much anyways. It took me a little while to wrap my head around the Advanced Material room, and I'm still learning new things all the time. One good way is to examine other peoples' shaders / texture setups and see what they did to accomplish whatever look the MAT has.

i setup material files (Poser 7) for most of this set:  as tiling jpgs

i could put them up in the free section, if anyone is interested.
They are material files only, you would need the Orientalia.

this set, too.

I have a fabric materials collection at Daz, it works in Poser 6 and up that has silks and some brocades and many more in various colors and the colors are easily changed in the material room. I do plan to make more like this soon and will likely place the next one here.** **
