Hi
I'm having a problem exporting any model as an OBJ!
I try to export as I've done in the past without a hitch, I've tried all types of models, when I save the model is shows as an OBJ but with 0kb!.
I ran a clean install & updated the service releases but still the same.
Any help is appreciated.

Do you have the right objects checked in the "Select Objects" dialog? Are you able to save the model to the Props library?

Hi.
Yes I have the right objects checked in the selection box & yes I can save the model to the props library.
When I try to export the conformation box appears but the blue progress bar gets halfway then stops, just tried it again & still the same, I've been exporting without trouble for a long time but this error has occured all of a sudden.
Thanks.

If you are able to save to the Props library (PP2 format) then at very worst you can edit the PP2 and extract the geometry into an OBJ file; you could do it by hand but people have written tools for it, e.g. this one:

On your current problem, the only times I've read about this kind of thing happening it seems to have boiled down to an install problem, but you just reinstalled - I'd contact SM support.

Your model is visible in the preview?
This problem can occur if you export a model who is not "visible".

In the cases I have seen that were specific to a Model, is there was some sort of corruption in the Mesh of the Model.
If it happens with all models, it was a corruption of the installation.

sounds like Pjz has the answer. Possibly the prop never had the geo removed from the file, in which case the geometry stripper will do it for you. But, if the geo is already stripped you have a corruption in the install. To fix a problem with a poser install, no matter what the problem is, just update your graphics driver and turn off opengl.....
to this day i can't update poser to sr3 (used to work fine, dont know what changed) without a corruption like the one you are talking about, and many more...
