Hi all,

Thought I would upgrade Vue8 Esprit - so got Vue9 Esprit through the post today, was really exited. But, when I went to enster the serial to proceed with installation - it will not let me enter E in any of the feilds - apart from the 2nd to last.

Which is not good as all start with ESP!! has anyone else had this problem??

I think the ESP is already coded in, OR, you are using the wrong code...

you have to register your serial number with the e-on webiste and then you get an instalation number which starts with INST (perhaps?).   Have a read around e-on website in your account area it might clarify it a bit.

I went to E-ON website to register - which passed me to Cornucopia,

and it shows the following - but I do not have a code starting INST - all I have is the License Card with the Serial No on it??

Manual Activation - Vue for 3D Artists:
Paste your INST code here:

Sometimes it will only go in by using CTRL+V

After you've copied it of course.

Tried CTRL+V but just inputs SP & not ESP?

thefixer posted Tue, 01 February 2011 at 2:44 PM

Have you tried it anyway? You know, put it in as it is and hitting OK or whatever it is to see if it works anyway?

Just a long shot, don't know what else to suggest.

e-on's registration process has always been a dog..

Strange - tried CTRL+V again and now it inputs INS? Put code in - but states invalid serial no?

Really confused now..

I would contact e-on directly, they can help you with your codes tell you which one to put where etc.

but before you do, the boxes that it asks you to enter the code into, does it have any letters BEFORE the first box?

perhaps a print screen of the input box.   DO NOT let us see your codes though, just the input box.

does it have any letters BEFORE the first box? It has VUE9 and then a 3 letter box for ESP

E-on normally has the first part of the your code displayed before the boxes.  Don't re-type that part in the first box.  And don't confuse activation code with serial number on the registration card.

Resolved - I type the serial no: onto a word doc and tried to copy and past it - but that didn't work so tried CTRL+V and it pasted/installed fine - at last.

I spoke with E-on and they said it seems to be a commen problem with them - not allowing you to enter the E in the first box.

Thanks for all your help and advice.
