One thing I really don't like about the forum is that "Notify me when someone replies" box, namely I can't seem to find a way to keep it from automatically being checked. Is there any way to turn that sucker off without having to click on it each time, and if there isn't, could there be?

There isn't a way to turn it off by default, but I will bring it back up to the techs for you.
