Hi. I am mainly a Poser user but have seen some great models that I would love to use but they are in Bryce format. Does anyone know if there is a programme which will convert Bryce to Poser including any textures the model has? And if its free that's all the better. Thanks for your time and any help you can give.

There is no program what will convert Bryce models that I'm aware of. However - and I'm not sure of this - DazStudio is supposed to be better integrated into Bryce in the most current versions. I'm not sure if there is a way to pass something from Bryce to DS though. If there were, you could get them out that way. Export from DS then to Poser. But since I don't use either program anymore, I can't say for sure ;o).

I do know that for personal use, Bryce 7 is free to use. I would say get the free Bryce, open up whatever model you like that's in the Bryce format, and export to OBJ? What better way to convert something than the original program :o)I recently installed Bryce to make landscapes and stuff for some images, and actually used it to make the lava pool in a pic.
Now for keeping textures, I'm not so sure, you may havfta enter the Material room and plug those in manually.
