IMD / Disney posted up some concept art (2D, 3D, sculpture) on the movie I worked on called "Mars Needs Moms". It'll be coming out in March.
The art (and some production photos) are at the bottom of the page.
Thanks!
Kirk

Interesting work. I get a lot of "Stack Overflow 9" errors when the page is loading though.

March? It'll be ages before I can see it. It certainly looks good, and I love seeing concept art like this.
Thanks for posting it.... er... are you in any of the shots?

Thanks, but I don't need my mother up here. And where does Disney get off thinking they can populate my planet?

Fran - We'll see, hope so! I didn't get onto the "A Christmas Carol" DVD, although they did shoot video of me (maybe someday, on some "extended" re-release, lol)
Clay - Yeah, it's a huge tradeoff (you get to work, but you get NO life, lol). There is a big shift going on with the VFX side of films in Hollywood. Usually any job requires a lifetime of OT hours, while not being union and getting paid a third less (than union people) and now everything is slowly being shifted to the work being done in other countries where they are paid even way, waaaay less.
I'm shifting my resume less towards the technical side to hopefully the artistic side in concept, illustration, etc. But, there is still work to be had in the technical world, since there is apparently still rent to be paid. ;o)
Still, all in all, it's a GREAT experience, mucho fun, cool people.

Thanks for the post. I am still waiting to get Avatar from the library on DVD and now this cool movie is coming out. Dang!! I wish I did not have such a hard time going to see theater stuff. I long for the days of Drive Ins again.
