For you folks that are using AOL.com as your IP, you also get McAfee Security Center as part of your cost. Beginning around February 8th, I have had no success with McAfee's VSO_cnt update. I can get (I think) the download. However a notice comes up stating that an error occurred, please download VSO_cnt or McAfee Security Center. Every day, it try to download with the same result. Has anyone using AOL paid ISP have the same problem? Jan Oh yes, I've contacted McAfee on this no answer yet.

McAfee has made some major changes. You need to uninstall your McAfee Security Suite from AOL, log onto AOL, go to AOL's security section and go through the download and reinstall process as you did when you first put it on.
McAfee will only refer you back to AOL as this is provided through AOL. No, AOL did not send out any info on it.
This is the only way to do it. You will have to go through all the firewall permissions and resetting everything but there's no use complaining.

Removing the old McAfee and the six hour download of the new McAfee did the trick (ye olde 56 K modem). Again Icprncss2, thank you. Jan
