Hi

I was running bryce 7.1 and desided to make a 6000 pixal by 3000 render.

When I tried to type 6000 into the doc size box in the main menu under edit or file I think.

The 6000 turns to 4000. anything over 4000 reverrts to 4000. Is this size a bryce limitation?

Save the file in it's default state (size etc) then go to:

(File / Render toDisk... / in the sub screen, type in the size and resolution you want )

Sub menu comes up to name the file/format/and folder where you want it.

I always rename the new file to define its larger size.

I do not have Version 7, only 6, though I'm sure it;s the same.

p.s.  also remember that any mask or dof renders will need the same procedure.

Anything more then 4000 pixels wide or high requires the "render to disk" method RodsArt described. When rendering to disk, bryce supports very high resolutions.

Thanks for the help.

I'll try that on next render.
