Seems this program targeted my Ultra Fractal program. Even though I have a 'paid for it' version of AVG, the only thing it wants to do is stick UF into a freakin' vault. Anyone have any ideas of what to do? I can't seem to find much info.
Thank you,

hi carol,
when my memory is correct, uf is able to render in a network with a server and a client. i'm quite sure, avg misunderstands this ability as a "trojan-like" behaviour. further infos i can not offer, but maybe this can take you a step further.
good luck!

Here is a note from Frederick on the UF main list:
"This has been a persistent problem with various anti-virus packages in the last couple of years. To work around it, in version 5.04, I've completely removed the Server.exe program and replaced it by an additional shortcut in the Start Menu. If you have upgraded to version 5.04, the Server.exe program from earlier versions will still be there, but you can safely delete it so your anti-virus software will no longer complain."

Thank you! I'm pretty sure that is exactly what happened. My anti-virus program just updated before this started! I appreciate having this problem brought to my attention! (:

Funny thing....I did an All Computer scan with AVG, and now it finds NOTHING. UF works. Guess 'someone' just wanted to light a flame under me this morning. Weird.
