So I just got a new system that runs windows 7 64 bit, and getting ready to install my Poser 7 (which I use most) but also been wanting to install daz studio 3 to give it a try. My question is where is the best place to install both these programs. I have been seeing a lot of topics about installing it outside of the program files(x86) and program files folder on window 7 and a bit confussed. First of all why there are two diffrent program files. but I guess thats another topic lol.
Also since I am going to install both ds and poser a bit confused where to install my daz 3d characters because there are some exe I have never used. I always just installed the ones with dpc in the file to my poser runtime, but noticed there was always a ds version and the power loaders, that from what I read are for ds only and not poser.
So my question there where do I install those I like to try to keep them all in my poser runtime but not sure if the powerloader files and the ds files should be installed in my poser runtime folders do I need to install those where my ds will be installed in their content folder?
I hope my questions make sense and someone can advice me I want to only have to install all this once and not have to go back and do it again cause I messed up somewhere. Any advice would be great.
Thanks
