Remember my laptop had gone to the hospital a few months ago for ten days? Well..was rendering Saturday night..you know..the dollhouse thinggy a couple posts back.. had finally put the forks on the table..and the spoons..and was thinking of asking you guys what else to do with it. Did a preview render.. and the laptop blinked. Oh man.. qucikly saved my work, and shut down the laptop for the night.. give it a rest.. 

Woke up in the morn.. switched it on again to check my mail and read the news..and oh help..it wouldn't come back on. I went thru a quiet panic attack. One of my friends called up..and I blurted it all out to him. He kindly suggested that he'd lend me his daughter's desktop in return for me teaching her how to bake choc cake. At least..till I get back the laptop from the laptop hospital.. 

So here I am folks. With a 1g Ram desktop..the trial version of photoshop installed since I had a design to get done for a museum. Luckily..I had sent them a psd version of the latest design ..so it was in my gmail. I can't put bryce.. and I don't think I can put anything else on it.. 

The verdict of my laptop? Dunno..not for another week or ten days. the hard drive..phew..is not the problem..it's soemthing to do with the pwoer stuff on the motherbboard. 

Sigh.. 

ok..so it's a bit better this time with the desktop at home. At least am not in a noisy cafe..but I miss my lappie! And I do feel akward borrowing someone else's computer. It's not like as if it's pillows or something light.. it's a computer, for heaven sake..
