Anyone Know if you can modify textures in the M.O.M Generator. I am looking for a way to render a crowd of peasent type people and this product looks promising but looks like they are all dressed in modern day cloths and I am looking for something more dark ages/medival type wear just wondering if it possible to modify the look of my crowd with this.

There is a free one at sharecg by Aemi1970 as part for his arena.

All the one I have seen use a seperate image and mask on a plane so you can mix your own figures into it. Just render to the size required and make a make in a paint program.

The one you mention has side and back views , which is very good, but if the figures dont suit your need get the sharecg one and make your own.

I believe you can, sort of.  There is a way to insert your own jpgs for the ones that are included.  You would need to be somewhat good at a graphics program like GIMP or photoshop though.  He gives a template to use for guidance.  At least he does for the traffic jam addon.  I believe he does with the basic M.O.M. package as well.

What you won't be able to do is to change it inside Poser.

Yeah when I was reading the product description it said it had a template so I figured that as well just wanted to see if anyone else has use it yet. But that sort of brings me back to a problem  because I am having a hard time finding clothes that look like from the time period I need of common/peasent folk sooooooooo I still need to find those anyways to make the ones for the crowd generator. Anyways I will check out the sharecg see what that has to offer.

Thanks for the tips :)

One thing to keep in mind when using a product like M.O.M. is you create the crowd so you know how many times the same character is repeated in the background. But the focal point should be the main characters or action in your scene so that the viewers of your renders eyes go there and don't catch the duplicates in the background. But as the creator of the image that is the difficult part or it is for me. That my eyes and head knows they are there and drifts to those and not at what other viewers are actually focusing on. Meaning don't get bogged down in the background, if your create a compelling foreground. Again it is a trap I fall in way to many times.
