A number of months ago I posted a suggestion on this board about a possible way to make bundles more attractive for potential buyers and was told that it was a good idea and it would be passed on to the right people for consideration, then the post was deleted. Since then I have heard nothing more about this issue, so I thought I would try again. For me the big problem with bundles is that I tend to buy items when they first appear, so when a bundle offer for a new item by the same artist appears later on, I already have one or more earlier parts of the bundle, making the new bundle offer uninteresting. I therefore asked - and am now repeating this question - if some way could be worked out to offer the bundle price on a new item to those customers who have already purchased the other part of the bundle and thus cannot otherwise benefit from the new bundle offer. I think this would increase repeat sales for vendors by making their new items more attractive to their existing customers, and it would also reward customers for continuing to make purchases from the same artist. At present I have a number of items in my Wishlist at full price but with bundle offers attached that I cannot use because I already own the rest of the bundle. I find myself feeling a bit irritated that a new customer can purchase these items at the bundle price but I can't, so they sit in my Wishlist until they -hopefully - go on sale sometime or there is a really, really good coupon offer. If I could purchase these items at the bundle price, I would be buying them right away. In my opinion giving the bundle price on a new item to owners of the rest of the bundle would be a Win-Win situation for the vendors, customers and Renderosity itself by increasing sales. The current bundle program is simply not interesting for me, because I have never been able to use it. I guess if I would stop buying new items when they appear, then after 4 or 5 months bundles might start become interesting for me because I would not have any of the items in the bundle, but I am not sure if this was the intended goal when the bundle program was introduced.
