Hi. This is probably really obvious but I'm a real noob so here goes.
When I render, it's much darker than in the preview - any ideas?
Thanks.
Mike.

Is any object in the scene obscuring the light?
Are you using Poser Pro 2010 or Poser 8?
Poser 11 Pro, Windows 10
Auxiliary Apps: Blender 2.79, Vue Complete 2016, Genetica 4 Pro, Gliftex 11 Pro, CorelDraw Suite X6, Comic Life 2, Project Dogwaffle Howler 8, Stitch Witch

Thanks Nanette. I'm using poser 8. I'll have a good look round the scene to see if anything is in the way of the light.
Regards.
Mike.

The preview isn't a good indicator of how your final scene will look, particularly when it comes to lights. Often, a light of high intensity may give the impression that it's illuminating the whole scene but it's actually only working on a small section. Objects casting shadows can also have a dramatic effect on the amount of light hitting the parts you want to be bright.
OTOH, if your preview is too dark, you can take advantage of this shortcoming by adding in extra lights which don't render, but will make your preview scene easier to see.
