how do i get a Gift Certificate to the person it is bought for?

( never bought one here before and have no idea)

I believe before you press the button to add to cart there is a checkbox to buy the certificate/product as a gift for someone :)

the problem is that i did not know the reciepients handle at rendo..

found the actual GC code in my account and then sent it to them via email.

hope it works ok.

its probably best to pop into the marketplace support forum and let an admin know, so that there is no confusion :)

That won't work.

I agree the best thing to do is to post in the marketplace support forum and tell them what happened. Don't post the certificate number. Just tell them that you meant to buy it for someone and didn't do it right and ask how you go about assigning it to the right person.  They'll likely ask you to email them with the information.

If more people would post a public wish list here (HINT!), then we could choose from something they want, and avoid the gift cirtificate.

solved!  got the required handle from another friend, and Kristi over at support sorted it for me. happy
